WowWee’s new Appcessories contain both an app element and an “in real life” element. There are various figurines and memorabilia involved when you buy the games. They cost $9.99 to purchase. This can be a way to make phone games more physical to those playing them while also making for more interaction. These toys will be used regularly with the phones. The game market of smartphone apps is already large, but the average price paid for games is less than $5.

Just the beginning

At the launch of AppGear Appcessories, the business will be offering several various choices. Zombie figurines with conductive pads are used for one of the games. You move the figurines across the screen, which displays a map. Another uses a real-life plastic ray gun which sends signals back to the phone and another uses a small foam airplane which attaches to the back of a phone and controls a flying game.
